Where can I find a laptop lap pad for a 14" iBook that has room for a wired mouse? Thanks!

I have one of those beanbag desk things. If you slant the laptop off at an angle somewhat there's more than enough room for a wired mouse. You can get them in fancy or cheaper flavors.

I have a folding one I use for travel; it's not particularly comfortable on bare legs (if you wear shorts like I do a lot), but it's light and doesn't conduct heat and is very sturdy. As long as you have something between the desk and your bare skin (jeans, a blanket, something like that) you're golden.
