Say I have a percocet. It has stamped on it "7.5/325".

What does this mean?

I would prefer the PDR, if just because I grew up staring at the dead-tree version when I was very bored.

It seems to be maintenance-ing right now, however. It also only really works when you already know what you're looking for, but it should give more information. (The dead tree version gives contraindications, dosing, effects, all you may ever want to know about any drug).

Unfortunately, unless you're on campus of a college with a med school, you're probably not going to be able to read PDR.net.
Access to PDR.net and Thomson Clinical Xpert is free to U.S.-based MDs, DOs, Dentists, Optometrists, NPs and PAs in full-time patient practice, and to U.S. medical students, residents and other select prescribing allied health professionals.

Ahh, apologies for the not-so-useful information, then. When the site was down, it was not even informative enough to let me know that, I think.

The PDR is still pretty awesome in its brickish-dead-tree-version-ness.
