How to add CD art to mulitple tracks in iTunes?

I know how to add a missing CD art image to a single track in iTunes but is there a easy way to add them to all tracks for that CD?

Select them all, then drag the art to the little box in the left-bottom corner. Then wait 10 minutes.

If the album is in the iTunes Store and you have an iTS account, you can try "Get Album Artwork" from the Advanced menu.

All methods above work equally well. Not to derail this question, and will repost elsewhere if inappropriate here, but why are certain iTunes fields not editable from iTunes? This makes no sense to me that you need to write a script (or get Lostify) in order to update the Description field. It would be nice to have access to that one in particular as it is searchable and the Comments field is not. Any idea what Apple does this?

It would be nice to have access to that one in particular as it is searchable and the Comments field is not.

A quick test indicates that the Comments field is included in search results. (iTunes 7.6.1, Mac OS 10.5.2)

I was thinking about the search window in iTunes (I have the latest v, whichever that is). If you start typing in the search window, it will return results that match the description field, but not the comments... or, I could have sworn that was the case.

Even so, my original question stands, why does Apple not want to give users access to the Description field. Just seems odd not to.

I suspect the Description field isn't actually stored locally, but is the AMG data pulled from the iTunes store.

to make the comments field searchable, go to view options and click on comments. if it's not in the view, it doesn't get searched.

at least for me, on a mac.

On a Mac, highlight all the songs from the same album (open apple-shift), then go to a website that has the album cover art. Right click on the album and drag it into the box. That's it.

For what it's worth, Amazon.com is the best site I've found for finding album covers. As they do a healthy trade in used cd's they have a pretty extensive collection of some pretty obscure stuff that CD Universe and similar sites won't have.
