Can I get my hands on the pilot for the US version of "The Thick of It"?

In '07, Mitchell Hurwitz co-wrote and created a pilot for a US version of BBC's "The Thick of It"...

Is it possible to get my hands on this? I have not been able to find it anywhere. Have any non-TV industry people even seen it?

The pilot was directed by Christopher Guest... and man, the cast. I'm upset that it wasn't picked up and I haven't even seen it yet.

I've wondered the exact same thing about the US remake of 'The IT Crowd.' My guess is you'd need some kind of connection to someone in the industry to get your hands on any of these pilots that aren't picked up. Someone here has to have some kind of connection, though!

The UK version of this show is so good, I can't help but think the US version would disappoint. I'd love to see the attempt though.
