Why can't I sync Sunbird with google calendar?

So I downloaded Sunbird (version 0.7) and tried to configure provider for google calendar add-on but the options button is grayed out. I tried it on two different computers, un installed and reinstalled but nothing works. What gives?

I'm on xp.

The Preferences button for the Provider for Google Calendar add-on is greyed out because it needs no configuration directly. It's set up when you add a new calendar to Sunbird. Here's a walkthrough on how to do it.

Wait, it actually syncs with something now? So Sunbird might be worth while. Have they done anything to get it to sync with mobile devices? I'm off to do some research now.
