Cheaper duvet cover

I have been wanting to redo the bedroom in blue and chocolate brown, and I really really love this duvet cover, the king-size sky version, although I wouldn't mind if the blue was a few shades darker. Is there something similar but cheaper out there? And maybe made of a sturdier fabric...

Domestications has this 400 count chocolate/blue cover and it's only 39.00 for the King.

Can't tell where you are, lemonade, but I would try going to a high-end fabric store or custom draper (NOT a chain store like Joanne's), and see if they can set you up. Might not save you money, but you'll get exactly what you want. (sample of kind of store, this one in Chicago/Evanston)

I'm not sure what kind of sturdier fabric you would like. The RH duvet cover is 100 percent cotton. That's pretty sturdy and I'm sure it would wash well. You might want to look at SmartBargains or Overstock, or someplace similar and add some brown throw pillows and or a brown luxurious throw at the foot of the bed. If it were me I would definitely go inexpensive on the brown and blue combination. It is a very pretty color combo (I have a chocolate brown and robin's egg blue color scheme in one of my rooms) but it is very trendy at the moment. If you buy something solid blue you could switch out a couple toss pillows to change the mood. Yellow or floral print for summer. Ivory velvet for winter, etc.

The Company Store -- quality, inexpensive sheets and duvet covers.

I got something similar from SmartBargains.com for much less.

If you have them in your area, check out Marshalls and/or Tuesday Morning. They usually have a fairly decent selection of higher end linens.
