Gervais without iTunes

How can a get the free Ricky Gervais podcasts without installing iTunes?

Some of his podcasts are free, others are not. The instructions on his site seem to imply the necessity of iTunes, but I've never met another podcast that you couldn't get using one of the run-of-the-mill podcast fetching programs. I know iTunes is free, but I've installed it before and it behaved like malware; it was more difficult to remove than real player even. Anybody know the link to the XML podcast file?

Arrrgh. Simulpost. I previewed, really I did.

I'd just like to embiggen my comment by adding that Gervais' podcast page is sucktacular in its utility. If there's one place where your question should be answered, it's there... not via someone subscribing to the feed in iTunes and then getting info on it on your behalf. Rassa-frassa...

Best answer: If you're looking for the complete podcasts, I think this link has them all.

Also, the entire XFM radio series which inspired the podcast is archived here, free to download. IMO it's a bit funnier than the podcasts....the back-and-forth between the three sounds a little more genuine in those days at least.

Definitely check out the short-run XFM show w/ Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as well.(scroll down in the first link) It's brilliant.

Sorry...after looking over that first link it seems like there's only a few bonus podcasts and the podfather trilogy (three more specials). I'd recommend you just check out a few torrent sites to find the first and second series.

The first series was free when it first came out and the second was available on audible awhile ago...so I'm sure you'll find torrents.

Either way definitely check out the XFM stuff. The format is nearly identical to the podcasts and Karl is at his best.

Every XFM show available on the net and all the podcasts, specials, etc. are also available in one convenient bittorrent file. The tracker I downloaded them from is now defunct and I haven't looked for it since, but I'm sure it's still out there if you look for it. The pilkipedia link is a great resource as well and may lead you to a tracker with a healthy torrent file.
