Captiva Island and DC Bubble Tea

Staying on Captiva Island in Florida next week. We've been to Sanibel before, and know about all the shelling. Is there anything we should be sure to do, and any really great restaurants? We'll be on Andy Rosse Lane.

Also, does anyone know a good place to get "bubble tea" in the DC/VA/MD area?)

They have "boba tea," which is the same stuff, for $1.99 at China Cafe, 1723 Connecticut Ave NW, just a few blocks north of Dupont Circle. I have at least one cup a week. (Great cheap Chinese food too. Mmm.)

on the original question, consider renting a sailboat or catamaran to head up to north captiva and some of the other tiny islands in the area - last time i did this, a fantastic group of dolphins hung out with my boat for most of the afternoon.

Unless I hallucinated, there's a place that just started offering bubble tea near you. On the 2100 block of Pennsylvania NW, near 22nd street, south side.

There are many places up in the Rockville corridor, such as Ten Ren, and Eden Center, of course, in the Falls Church, VA, area. See chowhounds for more info.
