Dirty Russian translation please. I have a Russian co-worker who showed me a russian word (with english spelling) but won't tell me what it means. Words can be found inside. Can you translate?

The words are "Sosi Loh". Please show him the power of Metafilter.

Frickin' moron, courtesy of my Russian co-worker. Literally sucking retarded man.

That would be: "Suck it, moron."

(Соси being the imperative form of suck.)

Yes, he says that's close enough. He thinks "Suck it, bitch" is closer to the intent. Babelfish states:

соси лох translates to suck the oleaster

which is:

Main Entry: ole·as·ter
Pronunciation: \ˈō-lē-ˌas-tər, ˌō-lē-ˈ\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin, from olea
Date: 14th century
: any of several plants (genus Elaeagnus of the family Elaeagnaceae, the oleaster family) having alternate leaves and small often fragrant flowers with four stamens; especially : russian olive

Hilarious. I wonder how that relates.

(I should also add that лох has many connotations, with tinges of idiot, fool, sucker, and chump.)

The Wikipedia disambiguation page lists all sorts of meanings (plant, fish, unit of the army of Alexander the Great...); for the slang one under discussion here, they mention theories that it's short for things like "лицо, обманутое хулиганами" ['person cheated by hooligans'], which shows you Russians are as fond of silly acronym pseudo-etymologies as English-speakers.
