Nice pants, for a girl

Los Angeles nice underwear for Valentines day?

I want to get my girlfriend some nice silk panties for Valentine's Day. You still call 'em panties, right?

So, I need two things—suggestions for the most comfortable brands/styles of silk underwear, and suggestions on where to buy 'em in LA. I don't need bras, just panties. And while a little style is nice, I'm mostly interested in her saying "Damn, these feel fantastic."

Victoria's Secret? Must have several branches in LA? I'm sure they will have slinky/slinky/feel good ones?

Eww, lots of women hate the word "panties." Try Mary Green for silk, though I'm not sure whether they're sold in stores.

Otherwise, here are some lingerie stores in LA. La Perla and Agent Provocateur have brand cachet (more so than Vicky's), but I'm not sure if they carry silk undies.

No, they're underwear, never "panties." I find Victoria's Secret to be super uncomfortable. They have cheap scratchy lace and fit weirdly. Try Agent Provocateur on Melrose. La Perla makes super nice undies, too. ("Undies" is permissible). Or just head over to Nordstrom or Bloomingdales. They have really good lingerie sections and usually the sales ladies there know their stock pretty well.

Depends on the girl. Well, on the girl's butt. Different sizes of butts feel better in different styles.
Do a panty raid on her underwear drawer to see what size she wears and if she has a common style.

Swear to god, I have found better underwear at Target than at Victoria's Secret. It's truly a tour de force of marketing that they can charge what they do. (Also you should never trust a lingerie store that advocates you buying a different size bra that's "close enough" because they're out of stock.) Most of the higher end brands are actually fairly close in cost and light years better in quality and comfort.

Nordstrom is good (Cosabella and Hanky Panky are good sexy/comfortable brands), Agent Provocateur and La Perla are fanastic.

(How can "hindmost" not win this thread?)

On the eastside? Try Panty Raid. I'd guess with the holiday coming up they'd be helpful. Last time I went in there with Mrs. asparagus_berlin, she picked out panties and I played the Atari 2600 (I think that is the number, not a gamer).

Saks has Calida, which is very popular for comfort (and they look and feel nice too).

This place on Ventura Blvd has some pretty fancy underpants. Depending on how much you want to spend, Fifi Chachnil has some nice stuff.
