I'm having hard time finding detailed information about the extent of the problems China is currently experiencing with its snowstorms. Can anyone point me to a source where I can get snowfall totals for specific areas? Thanks.

I don't have a source for you .. but I would fire up the google translator and search on google.cn for "weather thislocation"

Here is some information in English. I imagine that if you can read Chinese, the native version of this site would have what you need.

I poked around on the National Meteorological Centre for some data.

Is this useful, maybe?

Thanks everyone; it looks like the maximum snowfall in the affected area was 20 inches (50 cm) in a wide-spread area that doesn't usually get any.
