Reccomend A LI Laundromat

Looking for a central Long Island (Nassau County) drop off/pick up laudromat. Not looking exactly for cheap (though that's nice) but value. Tired of wasting hours waiting for machines to finish.

Also, the local one by me doesn't offer a drop off service, so I'm not sure how it works. I assume they charge by weight/bags dropped off? Just drop it off in a bag and pick it up in a bag a day later?

Best answer: Here's an old comment about wash and fold service in Long island. It doesn't mention a name unfortunately but it does say you drop off your clothing and pay by weight.

Best answer: Where in Nassau? I can't think of a single place in Levittown that doesn't do this for about 70 cents a pound. Drop off in the morning, ready in the afternoon.

If Hempstead Tpke is convenient, there's one on the corner of Hicksville Road (in the shopping center with AC Moore and Jackie Reilly's--behind Taco Bell, across from PathMark) that a friend of mine has used in the past quite a lot.
