PC laptop diagnostics and repair in L.A.: Recommendations, please.

My ever-unreliable Gateway laptop has bitten the dust for the millionth time. Rather than throw it into the sea (my preferred solution), I'd like to have someone local take a gander at it. Angelenos, who would you trust around here for such things? (I live in central Hollywood, if it matters.)

Best Buy will do a basic diagnosis for like $60 if you just want to know what's wrong with it. I'd recommend actually getting the repair done someplace else, as they'll likely charge you an arm and a leg for any replacement parts, etc.
