How to send the "Windows Key" over VNC from from Mac to PC?

PC: Windows XPP running UltraVNC
Mac: 20" Intel iMac running Chicken of the VNC or JollysFastVNC on Tiger.

Control and alt work as expected but a "command + key" combination just produces "key" (for example pressing "command + e" in notepad prints an "e" to the screen but doesn't launch explorer).

I'm willing to play around with different servers/clients to make this work but I prefer JollysFastVNC because it scales the PC window to fit the mac's wide screen resolution without scrollbars.

I've tried Remote Desktop as well. "Command + key" combinations produce nothing.

As I recall it's just control-esc.

Ctrl+Esc doesn't work for Win+E, Win+L, etc.

Maybe remap the Windows key in the server's registry?

(SharpKeys makes the remapping a lot easier, BTW.)
