Question: Looking for large womens shoes in Manhattan

I'm looking for suggestions for shoe stores in Manhattan that carry larger-sized womens shoes (European size 45) that are of high quality and appropriate for work. I have all day on Sunday to shop and I'd love to take 2-3 new pairs home with me.

I wear anywhere from a 42 to a 45 (depending how they're cut) and I've found that certain Aldos, when called ahead of time, carry larger sizes (usually one store per city). I just usually shop online (or in person, in Boston) at designershoes.com.

Claro's worked for me on this trip. I managed to pick up three pairs are very reasonable prices. They've moved their location to 34 W. 39th street.

ShoeMania was a total write-off. Small selection of small to normal sized shoes. Oh, and the staff weren't helpful at all.
