Bespoke in the Windy City

Is this a reputable tailor for (mail-order) bespoke suits?

They are located in Chicago and claim to offer ~$800 bespoke suits based on the measurements and options you provide. Has anyone had experience with this merchant before? Pros, cons, any input? I can't find any information on the web about them save for a TimeOut Chicago article.

Looking at the page, it sounds like they actually sell made-to-measure suits. Made-to-measure is not the same as bespoke. Not that made-to-measure suits aren't very nice.

(I don't know how well mail order bespoke tailoring would work. Part of the appeal of getting a suit hand made is having a bunch of seemingly random cloth hanging off your body while a tailor is their putting pins in seemingly random places.)

I don't know that I'd personally get a bespoke suit without the maker taking personal responsibility for the measurements. If you're willing to take a day or one day trip to Jersey or NY you could make an appointment with Raja for late Feb.

(I am presuming you don't have some allegiance to that one maker given the dearth of info you have on them)

They will certainly be MTM.

As for the specific service, I'd ask on styleforum.net.
