iPhone jailbreak, almost done. Need help with Tmobile sim card issue

I jailbroke my iPhone. Now when I put in my tmobile sim it says that the it's incompatible!

At first I thought this had to do with "my faves" that tmobile does, but I search on here and they said that would work fine. No idea what to do now!

jailbreaking is just the first step. Have you run AnySIM yet?

You have to unlock the phone. If you have jailbroken it using jailbreakme.com, then you have a new icon called "Installer" on your phone. Run the Installer application, and choose AnySim and click install. Now tap the new AnySim icon. That will unlock your phone.

Response by poster: oh sorry! i mean to say that I installed AnySIM, put in my sim card and that's when i got the incompatible error.

sorry about that!

Yeah, jailbreaking <> unlocking.

Follow the instructions at http://iphone.unlock.no -- I've found that to be the clearest, most straightforward how-to site for unlocking iPhones.

Oh, and if you just bought it and it came with 1.1.2 out of the box, you're kinda screwed (for now, anyway).

Response by poster: oh boy. I'm tired, you can tell i've been messing with this thing for a long time.

I have already downgraded the firmware to 1.1.1.

hopefully i wont need to clarify anymore! sorry about that
