Does Polysporin contain steroids?

I have a few different types of Polysporin lying around the medicine cabinet, but I'm under strict instructions not to use steroids on my cut. Does anybody know if any of the varieties of Polysporin contain steroids?

a few antibiotic ointments include corticosteroids. you might check the label and google anything listed as an 'active ingredient?'

IANAD but I don't think so unless it is prescription. In Canada at least, I was told that you can't get steroid creams without one.

Either ask a pharmacist or ask the person who gave you the instructions in the first place. I'd trust that over anything I found on the Web.

Creams like cortizone and cortaid should be available OTC anywhere.
