Please recommend me a dentist in Cambridge, UK?

My husband and I both need to register with a dentist. I just need a check-up; he likely needs remedial work. We'd prefer to register as NHS patients with the option of paying for private treatment as and when necessary, so a practice that provides both would be best for us.

[important missing information]
One of the patients is the planet's biggest baby and single-handedly maintains the UK's reputation for having bad teeth. Abso-bloodly-lutely terrified of dentists. I've ignored the pain from my wisdom teeth for so long my jaw has started deforming...

I'm using The Gables (01223 248202) on the corner of Perne Road and Cherry Hinton Road. I've only had check-ups though, so I don't know what they're like if you need a lot of work. I'm with them on the NHS and I think they are still taking new patients.

You could also try asking on cam.misc. The wiki isn't very helpful in this case.

When we were in Cambridge, both my girlfriend and I used Antwerp House, at the far end of Mill Road (i.e. not the end in the middle of town).

I was registered as NHS, so they at least offered it a couple of years back. I was quite happy with the treatment I got from them, including having a wisdom tooth out.

I'd second the cam.misc suggestion.

I'd also recommend Antwerp House. They accepted NHS patients a few weeks ago, so it's worth a try.

Just checked Antwerp House and they're only accepting kids as NHS patients.

Thanks for the recommendation though.
