A story from childhood

I once had a record of a child's story read by I think peter ustinov, the title I believe was Thundar the Giant.

It was about a village of people who had to keep a giant happy by feeding him lots of their food. I've searched for this story but I can't find it anywhere, and I don't remember much about it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I think the story is The Great Quillow by James Thurber. The giant's name is Hunder. The recording by Peter Ustinov sadly doesn't seem to have been released on CD.

That's it goo, your last link has a photo of the record I remember. The cover rings all sorts of bells, and even the lable on the record looks familiar. Thank you very much, I've looked for this for a while and couldn't find any kind of mention of it.
