Help me find a doctor who takes my HRA!

I perused the previous questions posted on finding good general doctors in NYC but none of the ones i've called seem to take my HRA.

I've seen NYMag's List of Best Doctors but the 4 or 5 that i've called from that list don't take ANY insurance at all. Many of the others are in the tri-state area and not reachable to me. The rest were dead-ends (bad phone numbers, etc).

HRA's as i understand are sort of a new-ish concept. Mine is from United Healthcare and called "Definity HRA" if that makes any difference. There are plenty of doctors listed through United Healthcare's website, but i'd like a recommendation as opposed to just picking one at random.

I'm looking for a general doctor or a ob/gyn. The last place i went to was horrible and i dont want to ask them for any recommentations.

Also, does anyone have an HRA? How are you liking it? Have you found it hard to use? I'm very new to this.

I had an HRA for a while - Definity, in fact - and I hated, hated, hated it. I'm surprised any doctors actually continue taking it after their first year or experience with it, too. A great big nightmare with the billing.
