Hey daddy who?

Hey daddy, daddy: song identification help requested.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away I was the recipient of a now lost mixtape. It had a song that I hope someone here is familiar with. All I remember is the "Hey Daddy Daddy" refrain and that the singer was singing to her father about how he was or wasn't a rock and roll star. I think the father chimed in occasionally to dash her hopes. It was quite cute and I'd like to find it again. Thanks!
