Help me identify this young adult book about time travel of a sort.

It's about a girl who goes to her cousin's birthday part in Philly, gets caught smoking pot and sent home in disgrace. On the train she hits her head and goes back in time to when her mother was her age. She finds out that her mom was even more of a troublemaker than she is, and in the process gains some sympathy for her mom. Read sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s.

I was just thinking about this book the other day - I think. Does an aunt (or someone) refer to "smoking a pot" which the narrator then mocks?

It was first published in 1977; here's a page on it (with picture).
