Three programs you might like to try:

Dupe locator
EZ Folder Fx
EZ Comp Fx

Only the first of these will do the erasing, but it is a little clumsy. Nevertheless, all three programs have helped me sort out duplicates; I especially love EZ Folder Fx and use it a lot.

This was very helpful when I was trying to track down my duplicate files. It took a hella long time to run on my larger drives, though.

one way to do it by hand, without installing programs:

in windows' find you can search for files on your suspect folder, then order them by file size
