Question: Cleaning up imported data in excel using VBA.

Cleaning up imported data in excel using VBA.

I’m trying to clean up some muddy data that is the result of importing some ACD reports into Excel. The ACD reports are text files, and basically I want them to be formatted into a nice looking spreadsheet so I can do some calculations with the data. I’ve found this tutorial, but I’m looking for some more general VBA tutorials that deal with cleaning up data that has been imported into Excel.

How does the data need to be cleaned? Specifically, how does it look after importing, and how would you like it to look after importing? Is it that the data are being imported incorrectly, or that you need to perform calculations post-import, or do you just need to "pretty up" the results?
