theraflu's natural apple cinnamon flavor tastes like licking the window of a hippie candle store. will it lose efficacy if i add a dollop of honey to my next mug of the stuff?

Heavens no, why would it.

Why not just take the pill equivalents of what's inside it?

Best answer: Instead of making a tea out of Theraflu I had a friend that would just put enough hot water in until it got to a snot like consistency and toss it back like a shot.

I'm not necessarily recommending this method, just throwing it out there YMMV.

Best answer: Honey will not only make it taste better, but it will also soothe your cough. It won't affect the efficacy (except positively.) The package of the lemon flavor suggests adding sweetener, even.

Best answer: I also mix Airborne with Kool Aid. Mary Poppins knows where it's at.
