Converting QuicktimeVR panoramic to a standard image format

Is there any way to take a quicktimeVR panoramic image found on the web and output a regular JPEG, PNG, etc. ? (I know I could screen capture, but I want the whole thing as one image and don't want to mess with the distortion of qtvr).
