Firefox Browser Gmail Issues

Google Browser Synch keeps showing my old gmail name though I have completely signed in with my new gmail address. Still, Firefox (2.0) for Mac keeps showing my older gmail name in the right corner of the browser bar. Any ideas on how to set it to my new gmail account's name?

Maybe uninstall the addon? (Firefox -->Ad-ons --> Uninstall --> restart firefox --> reinstall --> enter new google account info)

I've given up on BrowserSync because of many "stickiness" problems like the one you mention. It also does horrible things when I happen to leave several "synched" browsers running.

I've had much better luck with FoxMarks. No affiliation.

I realize this does not really answer your question, but if you give up, there's an alternative.

If you're having trouble searching for answers, keep in mind that it's called "Google Browser Sync". That should return more "official" and relevant results on Google and elsewhere.

have you tried deleting all your cookies?

Have you deleted the name and the password for the account from Keychain Access? That might help--it's in your "Utilities" folder.
