Where is a good place to get rid of office furniture in Toronto?

We have 8 large modular desks in our office that we would like to get rid of. Is there a good place in Toronto that we can sell or donate to quickly?

I don't mind Craigslist, but I much rather go with a business or something that can pickup from our downtown location so that we could get rid of these things as fast as possible. Normally my instinct would be to go with Goodwill, but it seems that they don't take modular office furniture. Any suggestions besides those two?

Nevermind instincts, call Goodwill and find out if they will take it off your hands.

Other than that, maybe some of those office furniture joints on Spadina avenue may also help you out. Barry's Office Furniture....
Get on the phone, yo./

Why would Craiglist not find you that business? Just put that priority will go to whoever will pick it up as fast as possible in your ad.

People are cruising craigslist all day, every day, for bargains they can flip at a profit. If you give enough information (nice pictures, dimensions maybe..) and you price it to sell, it will go very quickly indeed.

Put it up under "free" on Craigslist. I know several nonprofits who would jump at the chance to get some new furniture, and check that section regularly to see if there's anything available.

Check out http://www.freecycle.org/ It is a network of member-to-member giveaway groups. There are three groups listed in Toronto. sw
