Does anyone know where one might find a visual index of the linotype gold collection?

anyone know where one might find a visual index of the linotype gold collection? meaning a list of each of the 3,000 fonts rendered? tall order i know. (more inside)

im looking for a more legible/condensed version of "Changeling". if anyone has any suggestions?

Have you looked on MyFonts? You could use their WhatTheFont utility to match a sample of Changeling.

Try asking the question on the Typophile forums. Some of the members there seem to have every font ever made in their heads, even ones that are pre-digital.
