Finding saddle shoes in Vancouver/Toronto

Where should I look in either Vancouver or Toronto for shoes that look something like this that aren't Kensington Market?

I have a half-black, half-white suit, but sadly no shoes to go with it. I've considered wearing one black, one white shoe, but everyone knows that's tacky. Live near Vancouver, and I'm in Toronto for the holidays. I've checked out Kensington Market - any other suggestions?

Alternatively, what have peoples' experiences been with online shoe-shopping? Any places to avoid?

Best answer: Why, Fluevog, of course! They have more normal saddle shoes, too, I just can't find them... but they exist. The toronto store is at Queen and John, and I think there's a Vancouver store, too.

Well, they have them here, which according to the website is "located in historic downtown Abbotsford and now also in Maple ridge," for 79.99 Canadian.
Abbotsford, 2543 Montrose Ave
Maple Ridge 22374 Dewdney Trunk Rd,@ 224th.

Fake it, wear spats. (You know you want to!) (Also make sure you get the white ones and wear over black shoes... the black-on-white ones are kind of silly-er looking.)

Have you tried some of the used clothing stores along Queen St. West between University and Bathurst? They might be able to help you - or at least call around to a bunch of them. Black Market has some good stuff. If you're thinking online, zappos.com is excellent; if by some chance they don't have spats (whoo! love them) try finding them through like.com, a visual fashion search engine.
