My wife is a talented second grade teacher in public school; well-educated and well-read in her field. Problem: She spends ten hours a day at work. This does not include the time for her commute. Please read on --
She must spend this amount of time in order to complete the day's work and prepare for the next. She often brings home papers to correct. She says, "I never get done. This is nuts! Its second grade!" Today, as she is preparing grade cards, she is disappointed in what she's accomplished. She's losing heart. Is there any way she can be more effective without spending more time? (Or, spending less time for her husband's sake.) Words of encouragement are also welcome.
