Question: How do I configure Movable Type's email settings when using Google Apps?

I've using Movable Type on my web host and my email is hosted with Google Apps. How do I configure Movable Type to send out notification emails from my domain when the mx is Google's and not the web host?

The MX is only for incoming mail; you can use any server you want for outgoing mail. So, just tell Movable Type to use your web host's SMTP server to send the email like you would if Google Apps wasn't in the picture.

The only complication would be if your domain has an SPF record set. If you don't know the answer to that question(or don't know what I'm talking about) then this shouldn't be a problem.
