Looking to buy Euros...(anyone want my UDS)

I would like to buy some Euros for a trip I will be taking in mid 2008 to Europe. I don't need to buy a large amount, maybe 1000 Eruos total. I would like to do it as a tiny tiny hedge against the falling USD, but mostly because I don't want to take out my Credit Card in public...I know its being a bit to paranoid, but I would like to be as safe as I can.

This post was deleted for the following reason: If your question is where to get the Euros, you might try a bank. However, you didn't really ask a question here, and you did seem to request mefites to exchange money with you, so you're kind of two marks off target with this. -- cortex

Your bank should be able to do this for you.

Carrying around 1000 Euros is not strictly the definition of safe. Nor is asking for random people on the internet for 1000 euros.

Also, I fail to see a question. Use a bank or a currency exchange company.

but mostly because I don't want to take out my Credit Card in public..
Can I ask why?

Most of us have one (or even more) of our own, so unless yours is a very special one then I think you'll be safe. Of course if you get mugged and have cash like that on you..

And yeah, your bank can easily exchange money for you. No question here.

Using your credit card is far safer than carrying that much cash.
