Help with Display Panel

I have a panel display system where the bottom edge of one of panels curls away such that the magnetic strip won't hold it against the frame. Does anyone know how to make the material smooth out so the panel will affix to the frame again?

I picked the system up at a thrift store for 30.00. Of the four panels, the other three firmly attach with their magnetic strips to the frame. Only the bottom edge of one panel won't.

I guess that depends on what "the material" is.

can you iron it? works with paper maps pretty well. (low heat, no steam, natch)
