What is the best way to backorder a co.uk domain?
There is a co.uk domain name that I really want expiring soon.
I hope to snag it before anyone else.
I've read up all I can on backordering domain names, but all the articles I've read seemed to be geared towards the highly competitive .com market.
Are pool.com and snapnames still the best sites to try and use, or are there better options for co.uk?
Also is the way co.uk domains drop the same as .coms ?
ie:- after the renewal date the site goes through a 40 day expired status, 30 days redemption period, 5 day deletion period. So its 75days after the renewal date you can actually buy an expired domain?
To make matters even more confusing the whois data actually show it be to on a german registrar
http://registrar.schlund.info
although going to their site all their co.uk domains seem to be handled by
http://www.1and1.co.uk
anyone got any experience of these companies?
This article is very good
