What is this flag? White cross, red and blue fields, white star.

I saw this flag hanging in a window in Los Angeles. I'm sorry for the poor photograph; it has a white cross (regular, not Scandinavian), and two red sections, and two blue sections. One of the blue sections has a white star, which is hard to see in the picture.

This is an excellent flag identification site, and yet, after trying a couple of different searches, I'm sorry, I can not find your flag.

Sometimes churches have their own flags, which might not show up on sites devoted to political or military flags. Could there be some sort of church connection?

Best answer: I think this is it.

It's the flag of the Dominican Republic.

Lockjaw - No stars on that one, plus the colors alternate.
