Exterior House Paint

What's a good shade of yellow for the exterior of a house that is in direct sunlight all day?

I've always wanted a yellow house. What is a good shade of yellow that won't make our neighbors go blind from the glare? Our house is in direct sunlight with no shade trees. Has anyone else had satisfactory results?

My house is yellow, and it faces south, so it's pretty sunny. It's butter-yellow, so in the can, it was just barely yellow. On the house, though, it's nice and cheerful and clearly yellow, not cream. I had the paint custom mixed from a piece of fabric, so I can't give you a color name, but my advice is stay warm and light.

I had an interior room that got intense sun painted in Ralph Lauren's "Manila", which is a buttery light yellow. Loved that room.

Thirding a butter-yellow color. My parents painted two houses a similar shade and neither of them have caused glare.

It occurs to me now that I have some spare paint around. If you're unable to match all the "butter!" suggestions to an actual color, I can paint a little card and send you a swatch that any painter could have matched. Email is in my profile.
