Decent online resources for developing an IT Service Management Catalog

Does anybody know of any decent online resources for developing an IT Service Management Catalog / Catalogue? The more ITIL-compliant, the better.

I can't seem to find much other than proprietary / consultant sites, or the "professional community" version of spam farms.

Not much, but a couple of quick links:

A friend of mine specializes in this, I'll see if he has anything handy.

Best answer: My friend's response to the question:

"Honestly, it’s one of the longest-winded and toughest to develop subjects and each must be developed for each customer i.e., it's proprietary by customer. You’re best off getting an ITIL book on Service Management, reading it, subscribing to ITIL subscriptions and writing a Service Management Catalog for the customer. It is something has not invested any time or money into. Accenture does it, IBM, HP, the big dogs – even Microsoft doesn’t do it (or know how to do it). It’s something you won’t learn (and, it takes learning) unless you get the books and start reading them. Sorry, but that’s about the best I can offer."

I know it really doesn't, but I hope it helps.

Response by poster: No, that sounds like a perfectly valid & correct answer, and probably explains exactly why there's so little DIY info out there, only consultancies flogging their services.
