Clothes Shopping in Sydney

Looking for alternative type places for clothes shopping in Sydney for a young male.

I am going to be in Sydney for 5 days in two weeks, and I would like some advice about where to go shopping for clothes. I know about the standard places like Oxford St and Paddington Markets, but I am looking more for the really awesome shops that are off the beaten track. In terms of what style I am looking for, I’m into vintage stuff in the regions of Rocker, Pop Culture, Punk and Mod, not necessarily brand clothing but more about the style - skinny jeans and leather jacket with a cool tee type stuff. Oh and by the way, I am a young male. Any suggestions at all are much appreciated, amigos.

seconding King Street in Newtown. Also ISTR finding some interesting looking shops around the vicinity of Gleebe Point Road and Broadway a few years ago too.

There are a lot of direct factory outlets around Sydney. Here's a list.
