Can anyone recommend any royalty-free stock photography web sites? [more inside]

I used to use Photodisc, but they are just way out of my clients' price range nowadays. Their sales emphasis seems to be on collections rather than single images. I've been using istockphoto a lot, but just wondered if there were other sites that are similar that I'm unaware of.

I've never used istockphoto so I can't make an informed quality comparison, but stock.xchng has done right by me in the past. Page loads are a bit slow, however.

photodisc is outside your price range? Aren't typical shots just $30? I've paid them for stuff on my personal sites before.

matt: I'm talking print, not web... their print shots run $100/$180/$270 each for a medium res shot. Sorry for not making that distinction. Their web res shots run $50/$70/$100, so you may not have ordered from them in a while.

Have you tried Corbis? A goodly amount of their images are royalty free.
