Any popular digg-style websites or blogs on Canadian politics? Ideally, it would be a place where people can read and submit related articles and/or links to articles, add comments, rabble-rouse, etcetera etcetera.

I can't say if this is digg-style, but would Rabble.ca be somewhere along the lines of what you're looking for? (Link leads to the About Us page.)

This guy has a blog about politics and the law. I think he might be famous or something. http://www.michaelgeist.ca/

try this one (canadaka -- self proclaimed canadian version of digg).

now public seems comprised of user submitted content.

also, dmoz has sixteen listings of ca politics chat/forum/user-run websites. not digg style, but i imagine appropriate for rabble rousing.

Progressive Bloggers has a pretty wide aggregation of Liberal and NDP-centric content. They have an RSS feed that covers practically every notable Canadian political blog as well.

rabble is not a blog so much as a forum. Some of the topics can be entertaining though.

www.smalldeadanimals.com is a very well read blog. Quite right wing at times.
www.dustmybroom.com is a native written blog, and also could be considered right.
www.angrygwn.nu is perhaps more into the belly of the political beast. Also some what right side.

Lobby Them is like Digg for political causes in Toronto.

TO my knowledge 'CKA' is the only active digg-style site for Canadian news. I actually created the CKA News system before Digg was around, but I have made it more digg-link because thats what people are most used to now.

The homepage features the news, but also many other things. To view the 'news only' in more digg-style (with description text) go here: www.canadaka.net/news_links

One of the more appealing aspects of the CKA News system is its integration into the CKA Canadian Forums, which are the most active & fastest growing Canadian forums.

I also started a new site in May 2007 called Blogging Canadians. This is a digg-style site dedicated to Canadian blogs. It's run on the Pligg CMS system which was modeled after digg.

I hope this helps answer the original posts question.
