Furniture refinishing: What is the one book that best covers the subject?
In the next year or so I need to refinish some old furniture. Mostly maple, but a few pieces that are either teak or mahogany. I'd like to find the one good basic refinishing bible that covers everything from finish removal and sanding to all of the different finishes and methods, etc. Preferably for the non-professional, but not a "for dummies" book.
Websites are okay, if there is a great one by all means let me know. But I'd prefer a book that I can carry around.

Best answer: Not a refinishing tome, but a finishing tome: Understanding Wood Finishing.

Response by poster: Thanks. I'll see if they're in the library.
