Internet Archive: Net Labels

One great ambient release available there is Marsen Jules, "Lazy Sunday Funerals".

Good labels: Autoplate, Thinner, Monotonik, notype, Textone. I'm sure there are more I haven't checked out yet.

I have some ;). Also, the Audiomulch discography page has some links worth checking out, and there's loads of stuff at Webjay. Theta states has some amazing "mix-tape" style downloads. Finally, check the Drone download project.

You wouldn't think it, but archive.org has some interesting recordings. Lots of public domain blues recordings and live music too.

one of my favorite monotonik artists is khonnor, whose first album/EP Spinach Gas Room Spaghetti Straps is absolutely awesome, especially considering the production equipment he (allegedly) uses.

his other "group," i, cactus is also quite good.

there's always the less licit route, of course. soulseek started out focusing on electronic music, and it still has a pretty damn good selection of experimental and ambient stuff. [electronic and also non - there's a lot of good drone metal and ambient metal there, for example.]
