Looking for a cabinet latch

Looking for a cabinet latch...I need a cabinet latch that looks somewhat like a bow-tie, with a screw in the middle that you turn to keep a cabinet door shut.

It works on the same principle as a shutter dog. Does this item have a name? Does anyone know where I can buy one. I know I can make them myself but I was hoping for something less crude.

Try googling cabinet latch. It , or something like it, was on the 2nd page I found.

Does it look like this? You might want to browse arond the Lee Valley site to look at the other latches.

Response by poster: Gungho; the URL you provided does not work.

I need something with a screw or bolt in the center. The latch revolves around that.

Best answer: I think what you're looking for is called a turn button. Here is a nice brass one.
