What are the chords to the "Little Einsteins" theme song? I'm trying to play it in the key of C, it sounds like there's a key change after the RRRRRR part - but i cants figure it out. thanks.

It switches to the key of Eb.

If I had a recording it would help, but I *think* it takes the fifth (G in the key of C) and makes it the starting note for the melody, which is the third (you start on E to begin with). That would make the chord E flat...?

Whoops, my bad. It starts in A and then switches to C.

(Sorry, I was assuming that you meant that the *first* part was in C--should've checked...)

I also should read closer, since there IS a recording in the question.

So, it's
ADADADE ("We're" -

A ("We're going on a mission" - "54321": I know the bass is playing the A-E interval, but there's something else going on that I can't catch, at least try leaving out the C# and see how it sounds)
E("Everyone to rocket" - "now": and again with the open fifth and something else...)
during RRRRRRRR the bass walks up the scale from E to E

Yeah, the modulation's a minor third up. Very common. During the "we're going on a mission..." part, the root stays planted but the chord goes up a whole step and back. I guess that makes it a slash chord: I/II. Less common, though I've heard it before. I'd say this is an above-average tune.

Little Einsteins is above average all round really. My 3.75 year old will tell you so.
