Breakdown of the global software industry?

How big is the global software industry (in terms of sales)?

I was curious if any services or publications tracked the size of the various software industry segments, preferably by dollars in sales. I'm trying to do some research on the gaming industry and would like to know what percentage of software sales are taken up by video games.
