iTunes is missing songs, and knows it not

I had two iTunes libraries on my MacBook Pro. One was linked to a linux server and was where my main, 100+gig music collection is stored. The second points to a few CDs that I keep on the laptop for when I don't have access to the main repository. I was cleaning the local iTunes library only to find out that some of the music in there was linked to the remote server, not on the laptop. Here's where things get complicated...

The primary iTunes library has all of the files listed. There are just some of them that are now missing the files, but the entries are still there (along with play counts, ratings, etc...). I just have no idea what songs are missing files.
Luckily, I have a shiny new 160GB iPod classic that has all the music, so I can copy over anything that is missing. I just need to find out what is missing and if there is an easy way to do this. I'd really rather not delete the WHOLE library just to copy everything back from the iPod, but I will if I must.
Any suggestions MeFites?
