TowletteFilter: Is there a specific name for the paper/cloth used in towelettes, and where can I get a few hundred for homemade sunscreen/bug-repellant wipes?

I found a lot of results by searching for "dry wipes." Here are a few of the top results:

SpliceMaster Dry Towelettes boxes of 100 or 200; no price though, you have to request a quote

Quickables Disposable Dry Wipes case of 1000 (amazon sells them too)

Cliniguard Dry Washcloths

What a cool idea, btw. I can think of a lot of uses for these. They would be nice to soak with cold cucumber- or aloe-infused water in the summer.

My wife used to make homemade towelettes out of premium paper towels. She would saw the roll of paper towels in half with a bread knife, then pull the cardboard tubes out, then stuff the remaining mass into a tupperware tub and saturate it with god-knows-what. Worked just fine. The "towelettes" would spool out of the center of the roll.

Bricoleur - I've seen that method on a lot of "frugal" websites to make cheap baby wipes.
