I hate myself for asking this: How the hell do I get TVersity to work?

I am trying to find a way to stream to my Xbox 360 from my laptop. Someone recommended TVersity but I cant understand what I am supposed to do with it. I thought I was a little more tech savvy. I have have failed you, hive mind...

What part are you having problems with? The install is pretty straightforward as I recall from my latest try of their software.
http://tversity.com/support/quickstart/ - gives a pretty detailed list of instructions.

At least tell us what you've tried to do so far.

ooooooh, I just now looked at your post title, so have some clarifications on what tversity can and can't do.
It can take any video or audio file on your laptop, and transcode it on the fly to play by the 360. It can't do anything with an external stream. To watch youtube, you'll need to use something like http://keepvid.com/ to save the flv from youtube, and then use a converter to get that into some format windows media player understands.
